Accurascale is set to deliver a fresh line of ‘OO’ gauge PCA bulk cement wagons, presented in STS grey and Rugby Cement liveries. The wagons are scheduled for release in early 2027 and will be sold exclusively through Accurascale.
Built by CFMF of France for the wagon leasing firm STS, 50 PCAs entered service in 1982. Fifteen were initially leased to Rugby Cement, and a further fifteen were subsequently ordered by Rugby Cement in a slightly modified layout to replace the leased units.
The PCAs include turned metal wheels, NEM coupling pockets, individually fitted detailing and etched steps and walkways where relevant.
The wagons will be offered in both STS grey and Rugby Cement liveries, available once more in three-wagon packs. Those in STS grey will receive new running numbers, and a number of them will also display Sulfacrete branding on their walkways. A total of eight triple packs are being assembled – three in STS grey and five in Rugby Cement grey.
‘OO’ gauge three-wagon packs will cost £69.95 and are sold only through the Accurascale website. They are due to be released in early 2027.
