Modelau Bryngaer launches first wagon range

Published Wednesday 15 October 2025

Modelau Bryngaer, a new rolling stock producer based in Barry, has unveiled its first range of model wagons. The company aims to create high-quality, independent era rolling stock for modellers.

The initial release is an OO gauge range of Cambrian Railways 2-plank wagons, available in both dropside and fixed-sided versions. These wagons were commonly used to transport slates across the UK and, due to their longevity into the grouping era, are also available in Great Western livery.

According to Director Rhobat Bryn, Modelau Bryngaer plans to expand its range of wagons and vans over time, offering modellers a wider variety of era-specific rolling stock.

The new wagons are now available, priced at £29.70 each. This exciting new release is set to be a great addition to many model railway layouts.
