Hornby has announced the arrival of their new 'TT:120' Class 37 models, set to be released in Autumn 2025. These decorated samples showcase three liveries: BR green (D6700), BR large logo blue (37408 Loch Rannoch), and EWS maroon and gold (37704). Two of the latter two locomotives will come with factory-fitted HM7000 Digital Command Control (DCC) Triplex Sound Bluetooth decoders.
The models feature a range of details, including:
- Five-pole motor
- Twin flywheels
- All-wheel drive and pick-up
- Cab and directional lighting
- Different nose end configurations (split box, centre headcode, and refurbished)
- Separately fitted detail
- Next18 Digital Command Control (DCC) socket
- Provision for a 15mm x 11mm cube speaker
