A Fun-Filled Event for All Ages
Hornby Hobbies and The One:One Collection are hosting an open weekend at Hornby's historic Margate site, featuring full-size locomotives, model railways, slot car racing, and hands-on hobby activities. The event, taking place on Saturday, 9th and Sunday, 10th August, will be held across two sites: Hornby's WonderWorks visitor centre and the neighbouring One:One Collection.
What to Expect
- Explore the One:One Collection's full-size exhibits, including the Black 5 and Royal Scot locomotives, Churchill's funeral carriage, and original Euston station departure boards
- Enjoy interactive train layouts, a Scalextric tournament, and a 'Make and Paint' zone from Airfix at WonderWorks
- Let your imagination run wild in the Trainmaster play area or take part in build-your-own activities
- Discover displays from Hornby, Airfix, Corgi, Pocher, and more
