Heljan's 'OO' gauge Class 86/2 locomotives are nearing release, with decorated samples currently being prepared for inspection. The models will feature various liveries, including a new parcels liveried model.
The Class 86/2 was a modification of the original Class 86, built by English Electric at Doncaster Works and the Vulcan Foundry between 1965 and 1966. Many were later modified to improve their bogies and speed capabilities. One preserved example, 86259 Les Ross, has been working on the main line since preservation.
