DB Cargo has named one of its Class 66 locomotives, 66091, Accurascale in recognition of the model manufacturer's charity fundraising efforts. The naming ceremony took place on July 19, 2025, at the Midland Railway - Butterley, a preserved railway operating between Butterley and Swanwick Junction.

The locomotive, painted in DB Cargo red and grey, acknowledges the partnership between Accurascale and DB Cargo UK, which raised £10,000 for Martin House Children's Hospice through the production of a model of 66190 Martin House Children's Hospice. This brings the total amount raised by Accurascale for various causes to £45,000.

The naming ceremony was performed by Pete Waterman, representing Accurascale. Fran Burke, Director at Accurascale UK, expressed gratitude and honour at the recognition, stating that it was a privilege to support charitable causes through model railways.

To coincide with the locomotive naming, Accurascale has announced that a model of 66091 featuring its new name and bespoke detailing will be part of the next run of Accurascale Class 66 models for 'OO' gauge, set to debut in Autumn 2025.
