Clark Railworks to Release Prestwin Wagons

Published Saturday 5 July 2025

Clark Railworks is set to release a new range of OO gauge models of British Rail's Prestwin wagons, with six triple packs due to arrive in November 2025. The Prestwin wagons were built in the 1960s for BR to carry powdered solids, and were designed to eliminate the problem of powder accumulating in the corners of earlier Presflo wagons. The models will feature a die-cast chassis, separately fitted metal details, and a range of running numbers.

Each triple pack will contain three individually numbered wagons, all in BR bauxite livery. The wagons will be available in two different designs, with six triple packs available in the initial range. The models will also feature provision for conversion to EM or P4 standards.

The running numbers for the initial six triple packs are as follows:

The models are priced at £120 per triple pack, with delivery expected in November 2025. For more information, visit the Clark Railworks website.
