Clark Railworks has announced that the LMS 9‑foot wheelbase bogies designed for its upcoming LMS GUV will also be offered as individual spare parts.
The LMS employed a standard 9‑foot wheelbase bogie on most of its coaches until the late 1930s, so the new bogies could see use beyond the GUV itself. Clark Railworks believes they could modernise older ready‑to‑run LMS and ex‑LMS carriages, as well as kit‑built models and diesel brake vans.
Each pack contains two bogies and will cost £20. The packs are expected to launch with the Clark Railworks LMS GUV models in early 2027, and pre‑orders are now open.
