Accurascale has announced a new limited-edition model of Class 60 locomotive No. 60074, painted in its distinctive Teenage Cancer Trust/DB Schenker livery. The model, titled 'Teenage Spirit', will be released in late 2026 and will support the Teenage Cancer Trust, the only UK charity dedicated to helping 13-24 year olds with cancer.
A portion of every sale of the model will go towards funding specialist nurses, youth workers, and dedicated hospital units for young people with cancer. Accurascale aims to raise at least £10,000 with this release, and is encouraging customers to support the charity.
The 'Teenage Spirit' model will be part of Accurascale's second production run of their critically acclaimed Class 60 tooling. It will be available in two versions: DC/DCC Ready for £169.99, and DCC Sound Fitted for £269.99. The model features:
- Light blue "Teenage Cancer Trust" livery
- Special presentation packaging
- Commemorative certificates
- A direct contribution to Teenage Cancer Trust with every purchase
