Accurascale has announced the release of an exclusive OO Gauge model of the preserved Manor Class steam locomotive, No. 7827 Lydham Manor. This highly anticipated model is a follow-up to the company's successful first Manor Class release in 2023.
Originally built in 1950, Lydham Manor was one of the first Manor Class locos to return to steam after being rescued from Barry Scrapyard in 1973. The locomotive has a rich history, having hauled the Royal Train in the early 1960s and regularly appearing on the Dartmouth Steam Railway in preservation.
The new model builds on the success of Accurascale's debut steam-outline project, with an updated sound installation featuring a redesigned chamber for improved clarity and depth on DCC Sound models.
The Lydham Manor model will be available in two versions:
- DC/DCC Ready: £189.99
- DCC Sound Fitted: £289.99
The model is available to pre-order now exclusively from the Accurascale website, with no deposit required. Delivery is expected in Q4 2026, with a limited production run.
