Key Publishing has announced a limited edition 'OO' gauge Accurascale Class 60 locomotive, depicting DB Schenker's 60040 The Territorial Army Centenary in its distinctive Cherry Red livery.
Built in 1992 at Brush, Loughborough, 60040 originally entered service with the Construction sector, named Brecon Beacons. Following rail privatisation, it joined the EWS fleet in 1997 and was repainted into a one-off Cherry Red livery in 2008, renamed The Territorial Army Centenary. The locomotive was later repainted into DB Schenker's red and grey colours in 2012, before being withdrawn in 2024.
