It's no secret that I'm a big fan of small industrial locos, especially when they come in such beautiful liveries, so the brand new 00 Gauge Manning Wardle "L Class" from Rapido was always going to go down well with me.
But despite it's small size Rapido have managed to fit these with both a Speaker and a Stay Alive... not to mention a nice chunky flywheel on the motor too. But with all these upgrades have they had to compromise the core model? Is it too complicated or does it tick all the boxes for a small industrial shunting loco? Keep watching to find out.
(I'm testing out a new format for these reviews to put the focus back on showing the locos actually running. Let me know what you think as I'd love to hear your feedback)
The Manning Wardles are selling fast! Pick one up today before it's too late...
