Since starting The Build Along Model Railway series, I've had loads of comments asking how I made the portable baseboards come apart and align correctly every time. As promised, here is a dedicated video on that very subject, walking you through the whole process step by step.
This technique is perfect for those who want to build a portable layout, especially for those who want to pack up their layouts and take them to model railway exhibitions. It's also a fantastic solution for those short on space but who still want a decent sized layout. Once you're done, the layout can be broken up into sections and stored away until it's next needed again.
