With the scenic work taking major steps forward it's time to turn my attention back to the station area of Ffarquhar. Having previously installed the platforms ahead of ballasting, now it's time to add a lot more detail to this area to make it a fitting station for Thomas The Tank Engine's Branchlike.

The main focus of this episode though is the loco yard siding right down the front of the layout. This area is almost a mini scene in itself and in contrast to the nicely presented station, I want this to be dirty and grimy.

The True To Scale range works wonders for getting the ground textures down and 3D printing definitely plays a big role here, creating all the clutter that's been left around the yard. Will it the end result turn out how I imagined it though?
