This year to celebrate the 80th Anniversary of The Railway Series, I've set myself the challenge of recreating the Rev. W. Awdry's layout of Ffarquhar, the final station on Thomas The Tank's branchline.

In this first episode I go over the plan for the layout and compare my track layout to Awdry's original set of plans. After that I use laser cutting to create my very own baseboards before laying all the finescale bullhead track!
