A BIG update from Rapido UK with lots of new running samples and DCC sound profiles!

It's been a few months since I was last at the Rapido UK offices and the work certainly hasn't stopped! In this video I got to check out the decorated samples of the LBSCR E1 which now have a finalised DCC sound file.
In fact there were lot of DCC sound locos to check out with the Class 44 in N gauge and Port Of Par Bagnall and Fireless Locomotives in 00 gauge having all received their final sound profiles ahead of production.
I also got to check out the first 3d printed samples of the Caledonian Single No.123 and the GWR County as well as the running samples for Ivor The Engine (and his assorted rolling stock!) and a first look at the N Gauge Dynamometer Car too!
As if that wasn't enough, Rapido have also been working on building a brand new layout in their office so that we can showcase their locos and rolling stock in a much more interesting setting. I take you behind the scenes to show how work is progressing with the baseboards having been built and a full sized track plan of this epic layout currently in place.
