Earlier this month the Shuttlewood Clarke Foundation announced it would closing the display of David Clarke's Model Railway - much to the dismay of the volunteers and the wider community.

I was contacted by those working behind the scenes to keep the model railway open, asking if I would bring the issue to a wider audience through the channel and I also took the opportunity to speak directly to the Shuttlewood Clarke Foundation with my thoughts on their actions.
