PECO has just released the first examples of its new range of N scale ready-to-run wagons. The 7-plank and 5-plank open wagons now arriving in model shops are produced from all-new tooling and have some great features. Apart from accurately representing the correct 9-foot wheelbase the models also feature thinner body walls, interior detail, accurate brake rigging with brake blocks in alignment with the wheels, NEM355 coupling pockets and nickel-silver rimmed wheels. Livery application is to our usual high standard and a great variety of models have been released, with more to follow. Production of our original 10-foot wheelbase 5 and 7-plank models has now ceased, and further new models are planned to appear during 2023.
