Ventnor West station was open between 1900 and 1952, being the terminus of a short branch line veering off the Isle of Wight Central Railway line at Merstone. Unfortunately the line did not fulfill expectations as the station was inconveniently located for the town and usage was poor. Happily the station still exists in private ownership.
These three buildings, whilst based on an actual place, are all fairly generic in appearance and will therefore suit many locations, and will appeal to all TT:120 modellers. The station building kit has been cleverly deigned to allow modellers to construct it either as a full-size building or as two separate, smaller buildings. How versatile is that?
