The Lynton & Barnstaple Railway opened in 1898, winding its way through the rugged hills of North Devon. Renowned for its charm, steep gradients, and scenic beauty, the L&B became a cult favourite among enthusiasts before its closure in 1935. Thanks to dedicated preservation efforts, the line is being brought back to life – and now you can relive its glory days on your layout.
These latest PECO train packs celebrate that legacy with attention to authenticity and a passion for detail. Available from August 2025, these exclusive new packs feature the beautifully detailed KATO Large England locomotive “Exmoor Pony” paired with unique-liveried rolling stock – only available in these sets and not sold separately.
