ARP? Air Raid Precaution! These utilitarian buildings were born out of the need for additional protection from bomb damage for vital railway instalments during World War II. The reinforced concrete flat roof was designed to withstand bomb blasts. They also proved to be incredibly resilient to demolition when they came to the end of their useful life, so a few still remain standing today! Like our earlier OO/HO scale kit, this new N scale model is a delight to build and yet offers something a little different for the modeller.
