The Lynton & Barnstaple Railway 8 ton goods brake vans were built by the Bristol Carriage & Wagon Works in 1897, the company supplying three of these useful vehicles that could carry goods as well acting as the brake van. Our models faithfully replicate the earlier open veranda style, and the later enclosed veranda style that the Southern Railway introduced. They also feature operating opening side doors, fine printing and now metal rimmed wheels. Three initial livery versions have bene released and are now available from your favourite retailer.
