I am a huge fan of video games - more now that they are my hobby and my old hobby - modelling - is my job. I love getting lost in their worlds and there is a lot we can learn from the way they design for repetition, detail and gameplay.

One video game that I recently played is Battlefront II. It does have a great lava factory level and was one of the main reasons I chose this theme for my current Kickstarter.

I just had to recreate it in miniature - and I did do a whole lot more that just these designs but it got way too big for this Kickstarter so will appear in future ones...

I also slipped in some Jedi Survivor inspired shortcuts and put the whole thing together on an LED base.

I have already started thinking about my next Kickstarter and I would love to know what you want to see on there. I have set up a poll page on my website so if you want something in future - please pop on over there and pick your favourites or let me know if there is something missing.
