How to Model an Effluent Pipe

Many of us are drawn to modelling run down grotty industrial scenes. If you combine that with water modelling then you get a nasty smelly effluent discharge pipe such as this video shows you how to produce. It's easy to do with epoxy resin, gloss medium and paint.

This video shows you how to produce a realistic stream of scummy water coming out of a discharge pipe and flowing downstream along your river.

The Real World

I struggled to find many real world photos - I live in an age where industries are expected to have cleaned up their act and certainly, if I look at the canals around Birmingham, UK, they have cleaned up tremendously over the last 40 years. If you fell in one when I was young, you would have had your stomach pumped!
