In the next instalment of the Halo diorama we're on to the ground. It's easy enough to add a base, use two or three products and then paint it to get a realistic jungle floor.
The only thing to note in a jungle floor is that it is made up of leaves and decaying plants so there is not a lot of earth on show, mostly a rich brown loam.
Materials
Celluclay or Sculptamold
Brown Tile Grout
Woodland Scenics Fine Turf - Earth Blend T50/T1350
Noch Olive Leaves - N07140/N01750
Dilute White Glue - I use about 1/3 glue, the rest water
Isopropyl Alcohol and Water - I use 1/3 99% IPA and the rest is water
Artist's acrylic paint - Payne's Grey and Burnt Sienna
Polysorbate 20 (improves flow)
