Production samples of Key Publishing’s latest limited edition of Class 40 40145 East Lancashire Railway have arrived from Bachmann including factory sound fitted versions. Pre-orders are open now at http://www.keymodelworld.com/shop.
The ‘OO’ gauge model is due to arrive in stock this summer and is available to pre-order now with a £10 deposit at Key Model World Shop. Prices are set at £229.95 for DCC ready versions and £329.95 for DCC sound fitted models.
The Class 40 models preserved 40145 in the BR large logo blue livery which was carried by the English Electric 1Co-Co1 in 2007-2010. It carries printed East Lancashire Railway nameplates with etched replacements in the box.
The specification includes a Plux22 decoder socket, two 15mm x 11mm cube speakers, directional lighting, new tooling for the high intensity lights and more. A five-pole motor with brass flywheels provides drive to both bogies.
A full video sound demonstration for 40145 is available to watch here and both versions are available to pre-order with a £10 deposit from http://www.keymodelworld.com/shop
