The first decorated samples of Key Publishing's exclusive Hornby 'OO' gauge limited edition HST power car pack featuring CrossCountry's 43184 Laira Diesel Depot and 43366 HST40 have arrived.

The 'OO' gauge HST power car pack launched in February 2024 at Model Rail Scotland and is available to pre-order now with delivery expected in autumn 2024. It models two of the last remaining CrossCountry Class 43 HST power cars which were finally withdrawn in September 2023. This particular pair model 43184 Laira Diesel Depot in its retro Intercity Executive colour scheme from 2022-2023 and 43366 HST40 which was named in September 2022 during a Modern Railways magazine special from Leeds to Kidderminster and return with these two Class 43s.

Prices are set at £359.99 for the DCC ready version and £399.99 for the DCC sound fitted version, and both versions are available to pre-order now exclusively through the Key Model World Shop with a £10 non-refundable deposit.
