The Great Western Railway (GWR) employed many ‘Prairie’ 2-6-2Ts to work on its vast network of suburban and rural lines. Overshadowed by later developments of the breed, nonetheless, Rapido Trains UK has chosen to immortalise this small, but important class in ‘OO’ gauge for the first time.
