Hey Mike & Doug, I just want to thank you for all your advice. It's helped me with my exhibition layout (Heapton gorsaf dref) and the ever-problematic problem of weight, rather than a wooden fiddle yard (as I planned to do) I am now using hot glue gunned boxes and they are lighter & are cheaper too (useful for a teen like myself)
Also, can I ask how you clean your track as I am yet to find an effective way?

I rarely join live streams [busy etc]. However, if it is ideas you are looking for how about the merits of DC over DCC for smaller layouts and maybe where DCC would do good for a small layout or bigger layout?

I would like to ask you what truly makes for a Great small layout and how do you go about keeping it interesting to operate time and time again?
