We're thrilled to unveil two brand-new model releases celebrating the fascinating history of RML900 a Routemaster with a truly unique journey. These announcements come just in time for the Scottish Vintage Bus Museum's 30th Anniversary Open Weekend, where both models will be showcased in person!
What’s in this video?
The Full Story of RML900 – From its early days in London, its near-death experience in a crash, to its iconic second life in Scotland as the Oor Wullie Bus (JC10), and its final return home.
Model Announcement 1 – A highly detailed model of "Rabby the Routemaster" in its 1989 Clydeside Scottish Oor Wullie livery – featuring hand-painted graphics, roof art, and bespoke packaging in collaboration with DC Thomson.
Model Announcement 2 – A Clydeside 2000 twin pack, showcasing RML900 in its later "G99" livery and paired with a unique Alexander Y-Type Leyland Leopard (Fleet No. 630), both in stunning early '90s detail.
