This servo is designed to work in tandum with tthe SV1 Servo controller, however this servo is also useable with other controllers on the market too. Servos are versatile low cost control actuators which are ideal for animating layouts.

SV1 makes it easy to control a servo in a number of different ways:

• Train passing a Track Sensor moves the servo to defined positions
• Mimic switch moves the servo to defined positions.
• DCC Controller in loco mode - controls servo using the speed control.
• DCC Controller in accessory mode - moves the servo to defined positions

The Servo Controller incorporates controller, decoder and power supply circuit and can be powered directly from 12-16V smooth DC or from the standard DCC track supply. The small SV1 has a 3 pin Servo connector to enable a standard servo to be plugged in, plus screw terminals to connect to DC or DCC power, Track Sensor and Mimic Switch.

The Train Tech Basic 9g Micro Servo (manufacturer part number TTSVS1) is a low‑cost, 9‑gram servo intended for use in model railway layouts. It is designed to operate in tandem with the SV1 servo controller but can also be fitted to other compatible controllers available on the market.

The SV1 controller combines a controller, decoder and power supply in a single unit and may be powered from a smooth 12‑16 V DC source or from the standard DCC track supply. It provides several methods of operating the servo: activation by a train passing a track sensor, movement via a mimic switch, control from a DCC locomotive in speed mode, and positioning through DCC accessory mode. The controller features a three‑pin servo connector for the standard servo and screw terminals for DC/DCC power, track sensor and mimic switch connections.
