SS9 - 3 Multi Aspect Modern Single Lens Automatic Signal Fully assembled signal with built in sensor for OO/HO Now you can add automatic signalling to your layout in seconds with new Sensor Signals. A sensor is built into every signal so there is no wiring or extra circuit boards etc. Just clip or wire the signal into your track for fully automatic 2, 3 or 4 aspect signalling which works just like the real railway!

Best of all they work on both analogue DC as well as digital DCC and are fully Layout Link compatible, so easy to link Mimic lights and switches on a Mimic panel for control, signal display and train position indication with just a single wire! Quick and easy installation - everything is built into the signal!

Train Tech Sensor Signal Multi 3 Aspect (manufacturer part number TTSS9) is a modern single‑lens automatic railway signal that incorporates a built‑in sensor for detecting occupied (OO) or clear (HO) track sections. The signal is supplied fully assembled and ready for fitting, with the sensor housed in the base so no additional wiring or circuit boards are required.

The unit can operate in two, three or four aspect modes and is compatible with both analogue DC (12‑16 V) and digital DCC systems. It is also Layout Link compatible, allowing it to be linked to Mimic lights and switches on a control panel with a single wire for automatic block signalling, occupancy indication and train position display. Automatic operation may be overridden by a Mimic switch or a DCC command, and the feather or theatre indicators can be controlled in the same way.

Installation is straightforward: the signal can be clipped or wired directly to the track for automatic operation, or wired to a standard DC supply for analogue use. A kit of detailing extras is included, comprising a ladder, handrail and telephone accessory.
