A sensor is built into every signal so there is no wiring or extra circuit boards etc. Just clip or wire the signal into your track for fully automatic 2, 3 or 4 aspect signalling which works just like the real railway!

Best of all they work on both analogue DC as well as digital DCC and are fully Layout Link compatible, so easy to link Mimic lights and switches on a Mimic panel for control, signal display and train position indication with just a single wire! Quick and easy installation - everything is built into the signal!

Train Tech Sensor Signal Multi 4‑Aspect (part number TTSS10) is a fully assembled dual‑lens railway signal equipped with an integrated sensor. The unit is ready to fit on OO/HO track and provides automatic 2‑, 3‑ or 4‑aspect operation without the need for additional wiring or circuit boards.

The sensor detects train occupancy and holds the signal at danger until the train has passed. Signals can be linked together with a single wire for automatic block control, and the automatic function may be overridden by a Mimic switch or a DCC command. The device is compatible with both analogue DC (12‑16 V supply) and digital DCC systems and works with Layout Link, allowing occupancy and train‑position indication on a Mimic control panel using one wire.

Additional detailing parts such as a ladder, handrail and telephone are supplied. Feathers or theatre indicators can be operated by DCC or a Mimic switch, and points controlled by DCC may be set to illuminate automatically when given the same address.
