This small module fits neatly into a coach or multi-unit and simulates the rear light on the back of the train. This pack includes a twin terminal for both constant and door light (amber) LED illuminations. The door light LED can be fitted to a multiple unit or modern coach with automatic style doors. As the train stops the amber LED's turn on to simulate the doors being ready to open. Just like real thing. Ideal for modern era railways.

Train Tech Automatic Lighting Effects – Amber Door/Constant (Dual) (Manufacturer Part Number: TTAL24) is a compact module designed to be installed in coaches, multiple‑units or other railway vehicles to imitate the rear and door‑light functions of a train.

The unit includes a twin terminal that supplies both a constant amber LED and a door‑light amber LED. When the train comes to a stop, the door‑light LED activates automatically to indicate that the doors are ready to open, replicating the behaviour of modern rail rolling stock.

Operation is based on motion detection; the lights switch on when movement is sensed and switch off automatically four minutes after the last detected motion. Installation requires no pick‑up, wiring or soldering – the LEDs plug directly into the terminals. The module can be fitted to brake vans, coaches, wagons and similar vehicles and is powered by a standard button battery, providing long service life.
