This small module fits neatly into a coach, multi-unit or wagon and simulates the rear light on the back of the train. This pack includes a twin terminal for both constant and spark flash LED illuminations. The Arc flash LED can be fitted to a multiple unit with the 3rd rail pick up, As the LED flashes it will simulate the power pick up from the outside rail. Just like real thing. Ideal for modern era railways.

Train Tech Automatic Lighting Effects – Spark Arc/Constant (Dual) (Manufacturer Part Number TTAL23) is a compact module designed to be installed in coaches, multiple‑units or wagons to simulate the rear light of a train. The unit provides both a constant LED illumination and a spark‑flash LED that can be fitted to a multiple‑unit equipped with a third‑rail pick‑up, reproducing the visual effect of power being drawn from the rail.

The device detects motion and activates automatically, remaining illuminated until no movement is detected for four minutes, after which it switches off. Installation requires no pick‑up, wiring or soldering; the LED plugs directly into the supplied twin terminals and can be fitted to brake vans, coaches, wagons and similar vehicles.

Power is supplied by a standard button battery, offering long operating periods without the need for external connections. The module is intended for use on modern‑era railways, providing a realistic lighting effect while being easy to fit.
