Announced as part of our Spring 2022 British Railway Announcements, we are delighted to offer this model of the Parachute Water Tower.
The GWR’s Parachute Water Tower is an iconic structure of the steam era and several of these instantly recognisable towers can still be seen at heritage railways in former GWR territory. Painted in the GWR’s house colours of light and dark stone, this is a perfect addition to any Western Region layout set in the steam era, or maybe you’re modelling a preservation scene – if so there’s no excuse needed to add this beauty!
