Announced as part of our Winter 2020 British Railway Announcements, we are delighted to bring you this authentic rendition of Wroxham Signal Box.
Based on the historic timber-framed signal box situated adjacent to Hoveton and Wroxham Station in Norfolk, this Scenecraft model depicts a much-loved structure that has recently been restored to its former glory by the Wroxham Signalbox Trust. The real box dates back to 1900 and was originally built to control the junction of the branch to Aylsham with line from Norwich to Cromer line which was originally operated by the Great Eastern Railway.
Our model captures all the charm of the original box, with its Swiss chalet style wooden slatted structure, grey tiled roof, upper floor veranda complete with intricate handrails and glazed windows. Fully finished and decorated, this model is ready to be placed onto your layout right out of the box and will make a great addition to your layout no matter what the era!

Bachmann Wroxham Signal Box is a OO scale, hand‑painted replica of the historic timber‑framed signal box located next to Hoveton and Wroxham station in Norfolk. The original structure dates from 1900 and was built to control the junction of the branch to Aylsham with the line from Norwich to Cromer, originally operated by the Great Eastern Railway.
The model measures 190 mm in length, 46.5 mm in width and 101 mm in height (approximately 7.5 in × 1.8 in × 4 in). It features a Swiss‑chalet style wooden slatted body, grey tiled roof, upper‑floor veranda with hand‑railed balustrade, and glazed windows set in etched metal frames.
All components are fully finished and painted, ready to be placed on a layout directly from the box. The realistic window glazing is compatible with Woodland Scenics JustPlug lighting.
