Prototype Era
Era 8 (1983 to 1994) British Rail Sectorisation
Model features:
165 vacuum braked Borails were built to diagrams 1/482 and 1/483 in the late 1950s. The Borails were built with 8' plate bogies and vacuum brakes.
During the mid-1980s some of the Mullets were converted in to YQA Parrs. Many of the Parrs had additional ratchet straps added and the YQAs have flat decks with a pair of longitudinal beams on the deck and fold over flaps at the ends of the deck.

Revolution Trains YMA / YQA Parrs Departmental Yellow is a twin‑pack of highly detailed OO gauge wagons, modelled to 1:76.2 scale. The pack includes two separately numbered wagons: YMA (number DC967555) with a grey underframe and YQA (number DC967569) with a black underframe. Both models represent British Rail departmental wagons from the sectorisation era.
The wagons feature accurate differences in buffers, bogies and brake gear, RP25.110 gauge wheels on 26 mm axles and NEM coupler sockets. They are capable of running on a minimum radius of 2nd radius. Historically, 165 vacuum‑braked Borails were built to diagrams 1/482 and 1/483 in the late 1950s; many were later converted into YQA Parrs during the mid‑1980s, gaining flat decks, longitudinal beams and fold‑over flaps, with some units fitted with additional ratchet straps.
