Manufacturer description

GBRf JNA-X in a brighter blue and orange. 11 ribs, side doors and reinforced wagon ends. Wagon number 81 70 5932 786-3

The JNA/MMA EALNOS bogie box wagon was introduced in 2016 and more than 900 are now in service across a wide variety of locations and freight operators all across the network.

The prototype has two main types – one with 9 bodyside ribs, one with 11. Within this, some have access doors between the ribs at the right-hand end and some do not, while some have parking brake wheels on the lower edge of the body, while some have it on the bogie at one end. We also offer versions with battery powered tail lamps (no batteries are included) – the tail lamp fitted versions are either version L or version X.

Our model of the JNA/MMA EALNOS is tooled for all the variations of EALNOS (9 or 11 ribs, side doors or no side doors).

Revolution Trains JNA‑X Box Wagon GBRf, blue and orange liveried, carries the identifier 81 70 5932 786‑3. The model is supplied with part number OO‑EAL‑111B and represents the current era of railway freight wagons.

The real‑world JNA/MMA EALNOS bogie box wagon entered service in 2016; more than 900 units are now operating with various freight operators across the network. The design features reinforced wagon ends, side doors and, in this version, eleven bodyside ribs.

Two principal prototype configurations exist: one with nine ribs and one with eleven. Within each group some units incorporate access doors at the right‑hand end, some omit them, and the parking brake wheels may be mounted on the lower body edge or on the bogie at one end. Versions with battery‑powered tail lamps are also offered, though the batteries are not supplied; these are designated as version L or version X.

The Revolution Trains model is tooled to accommodate all of the above variations, including both nine‑rib and eleven‑rib bodies, with or without side doors, and the optional tail‑lamp configurations.
