This model is a replica of the LNWR Dia.84 Open wagon, a type of freight wagon used by the London and North Western Railway. The model is painted in BR freight grey, a common colour scheme used by British Railways during the 1950s and 1960s.

The model features a number of authentic details, including square headstocks, a body with overlapping diagonal and extra door strip, a short brake handle, and 2-rib buffers.
