Rapido has released a new OO gauge model of the GWR Loriot Y Machinery Truck in BR plain black livery, numbered DW41990. This model represents a vehicle from the British Railways Late Crest period.

The model is constructed using injection moulded and die-cast materials, with separately fitted detail parts to enhance its accuracy. It features a high level of detail, both above and below the floor line, to accurately replicate the real thing.

The model's wheels are of the spoked variety and feature metal bearings for smooth running. To cater for the various configurations seen during its operational life, the model includes additional tie-down points.

This model is part of the Rapido GWR Loriot Y collection and is scaled at 1:76, making it suitable for OO gauge layouts.
