The Rapido VIX OO gauge model, number 21 70 2380 249-9, is a reproduction of a British Rail ferry van. This model represents a Railfreight International liveried van, with a grey base colour and red stripe, and is part of the Rapido VIX Ferry Van collection.

The model is based on the BR Diagram 1/227 ferry van, known as a VIX. The underframes and bodies of the model are highly detailed, giving a realistic representation of the original vehicle. The side doors of the van are also modelled as opening, allowing for added detail and functionality.

The model features NEM coupler pockets with sprung cams, allowing it to be easily coupled and decoupled from other rolling stock. The model is scaled at 1:76, making it suitable for OO gauge model railways.
