The Rapido Fleetline #6908, modelled for Andrews of Sheffield and representing the 501 Meadowhall service, is a 1/76 scale model bus. It is constructed from injection‑moulded plastic and metal components and follows 100 % accurate proportions derived from laser scans of the real vehicle.
All body weld lines, extrusions and rivets are faithfully reproduced, and the vehicle features a fully painted, multi‑coloured interior with no large posts obstructing the aisles. Separate etched‑metal interior grab poles, steerable front wheels with rubber tyres and flush glazing are included, as are working headlamps and interior lighting.
The model requires a 9 V 500 mA DC power supply (not supplied). The finish is even and does not obscure the fine details.
