Sovereign Recovery was founded in 2001 by Edward and Doug Pope. Motor engineers by profession, they answered an emergency call-out to help a colleague and - as they say - rest is history. Sovereign now has contracts with all the leading transport operations in London and the Home Counties, including Arriva, First Bus, Stagecoach, Metroline and Transport for London.

Oxford Diecast Sovereign Recovery Volvo – 1:76 scale model. The model is supplied under the manufacturer part number VOL02REC and depicts a Volvo recovery vehicle used during the rebuilding of the railways. The vehicle is produced in die‑cast metal and measures approximately 1/76 of the size of the real‑world counterpart.
The model represents the period of railway reconstruction, a time when recovery and maintenance vehicles were employed to clear and repair damaged track and infrastructure. It is marketed by Oxford Diecast as a collectible item for enthusiasts of transport modelling and railway history.
Sovereign Recovery, the company whose livery is shown on the model, was established in 2001 by Edward and Doug Pope, both motor engineers. Since its inception the firm has secured contracts with major transport operators in London and the Home Counties, including Arriva, First Bus, Stagecoach, Metroline and Transport for London.
