Lucey Transport Logistics (LTL) was established in 1945, since when it has become a leading provider of transport services, working out of one centre in Rathcoole, Co. Dublin and two in Co. Cork. The company employs over a hundred people, has a quality fleet of articulated and rigid vehicles, 300 trailers and over 500,000 sq ft of modern high-bay warehousing. The LTL fleet consists of temperature-controlled units, Curtainsiders/Euroliners, Flats, Keg trailers, 20/40 ft skeletal trailers and tankers. The company specialises in transport and warehousing solutions to the manufacturing, wholesale, beverage, confectionery, food and packaging industries. Their client base includes the Irish arm of many blue chip companies, including Cadbury, Philips Electronics, Dulux and Heineken. In addition, Lucey Transport has a strong environmental ethic, complying with all applicable legislation, including the re-use and recycling of materials wherever possible, minimising waste and the promotion of energy efficiencies.
