Oxford Diecast Morecambe & Heysham – 1:76 Scale model (Manufacturer Part Number RT010) portrays a British Railways locomotive bearing the early BR crest, representative of the period prior to the 1960s.

The model depicts the railway environment serving the north‑Lancashire coastal resorts of Morecambe and Heysham. Morecambe, the larger of the two towns, overlooks Morecambe Bay and retains a significant tourist trade. Heysham, a substantial marine village, experienced harbour improvements in the 1960s and subsequently became the principal port for Isle of Man services.

The locomotive type, often referred to as a Regent, was a common sight at the Heysham Road depot and remained in regular operation there into the 1960s.
