Oxford Diecast New Zealand Bus – 1:76 Scale is a model kit produced under part number B059. It depicts a vehicle from the era of the British railway “Big Four” – the LNER, LMS, GWR and SR – and is intended for collectors of historic transport.

The model represents the AEC X‑type bus introduced in 1909. The original 34‑seater vehicle was built in Walthamstow and was powered by a four‑cylinder 28 hp petrol engine. Approximately 60 examples were manufactured before production was altered during the First World War.

In 1916 the British government took over manufacture of the bus for the duration of World War I, leading to further modifications of the design. The die‑cast replica reflects these historical details in a 1:76 scale format.
