Oxford Diecast Booths – 1:76 Scale

Manufacturer part number B023 represents a model of the AEC X type 34‑seater bus, a vehicle first launched in 1909. Approximately 60 of the original buses were built at the Walthamstow factory, and the model was powered by a four‑cylinder 28 hp petrol engine.

The bus is depicted in the period known as the “Big Four”, covering the London and North Eastern Railway (LNER), London, Midland and Scottish Railway (LMS), Great Western Railway (GWR) and Southern Railway (SR). Production of the real bus continued to evolve, and in 1916 the British government assumed control of manufacturing for the duration of the First World War.
