Oxford Diecast Kings Head – 1:76 Scale is a die‑cast model produced by Oxford Diecast. The model is identified by the manufacturer part number B004 and represents a vehicle from the era of the British railway “Big Four”, namely the London and North Eastern Railway (LNER), the London, Midland and Scottish Railway (LMS), the Great Western Railway (GWR) and the Southern Railway (SR).

The model depicts the AEC X‑type bus, a 34‑seater vehicle that was first launched in 1909. The original bus was built at the Walthamstow factory and was powered by a four‑cylinder 28 hp petrol engine. Approximately 60 examples of the original bus were manufactured before production was increased and the design was modified on several occasions.

In 1916, during the First World War, the British government assumed control of the bus’s production for the duration of the conflict. The die‑cast replica reproduces these historical details in 1:76 scale.
