Manufacturer description

The Oxford Diecast Triumph Stag Java Green looks the part! This is a great model of a quirky vehicle from back in the day!

The Triumph Stag sports tourer was a British car made by the Triumph Motor Company between 1970 and 1977. Classed as a four-seater convertible coupe, it had been designed by Italian designer Giovanni Michelotti. Fitted with a 3.0L V8 engine, it was highly desirable and proved to be one of the IT cars of the era! An option for purchasers was a removable canvas top which later became standard.

Our open topped sports tourer is decorated in a fresh green colour scheme with beige flooring, seats and tonneau cover. Registered PAH559R from 1976/77, the last year of manufacture, the car features lots of exterior chromework, topped by the signature STAG crest embedded into the wide radiator grille. It was certainly an eye-catcher in its day!

Oxford Diecast Triumph Stag Java Green – Model 76TS002

This diecast model represents a Triumph Stag sports tourer as it would have appeared in the late 1970s, specifically the final year of production (1976/77). The original car was built by the Triumph Motor Company between 1970 and 1977, designed by Giovanni Michelotti, and equipped with a 3.0‑litre V8 engine. It was offered as a four‑seat convertible coupe, initially with an optional removable canvas top that later became standard.

The model is finished in a fresh Java green livery with beige flooring, seats and tonneau cover. It bears the registration PAH559R and features extensive exterior chromework, a wide radiator grille, and the STAG crest embedded in the grille. The styling reflects the period's British Rail Blue (Pre‑TOPS) colour scheme used on the promotional materials.

The diecast is intended as a collector's item, reproducing the distinctive appearance and details of the original vehicle for enthusiasts of classic British automotive design.
